This project was made as a graduation thesis on behalf of RIup, the start-up company I was in for the university internship. Located in Faenza (IT), RIup manufactures design products from local industrial waste and disposable materials, such as hospital cloth, pressed cardboard cylinders, and the more renowned ceramic production scrap.

The brief proposed to me for the thesis was to design a new pouffe to add to the existing Hos collection, but the real challenge was also to make it different from the already existing Lùne, characterized by a more rigid structure.

In order to give more variety to the collection, I chose to study a proper design for a pouffe with a softer structure, and to explore multiple functionalities for the end user.
